White Christmas 08

I uploaded my pics in the wrong order. Oh well! You'll get the idea. We stopped in NYC on our way home for a couple hours. We saw the Statue of Liberty from a distance (in the fog:), Wall Street and the financial district, and Ground Zero as well as other random stuff. It was so fun!

Ground Zero...the construction that is still taking shape.

It was still such a sobering place to be.

On Wall Street

I thought this was a cool shot...an old church building standing stark against this enormous modern sky scraper...
my cutie boy
The Stanton Island Ferry that we didn't want to wait 2 hours to get on :)

So this was our view from the other side.
Me petting the Bull...
Josiah opening some presents

Beano and little Elliot

We went to breakfast at a neat little place called Bean Town

The day we got there it snowed about 15 inches!!!
Still coming down hard.

Their Charlie brown Christmas tree
The cozy wood stove...where we spent most of our time :)

Father and daughters-in-law...awww

haha..comparing stockings :)

The frozen swimming pool

Despite getting the 24 hour flu bug while we were there, overall we had a great time with Steve's family. It was fun to have a white Christmas, something we pretty much never have here in VA. Thanks Mom and Dad Crabb for a fun week! We love and miss you guys.
